It's my birthday today, and I just found out that I have Attention Deficit Disorder. So one would think this explains everything. But then, so what? So what if I forget half of what I'm saying halfway through the sentence? So what if I get confused when I hear other people's conversations while I'm talking? If I forget my keys, my milk (the ants are crawling all over the room), myself (still floating around, somewhere), does it matter? So what if I find out I'm always late for appointments because of this? Am I just trying to get people's sympathy? To explain, rather belatedly, that 'oh I didn't go to your party because I have ADD and people who have been diagnosed with such a mental disorder CAN'T HELP it...'? You think life will be easier when you finally have something to blame for all the inconsistencies, the inexplicable episodes of non-communication, the impulsive decision to quit, to leave, to disappear? /edit last minute words: TOMORROW IS FRIDAY and I BELIEVE we might have a debate against Westfields Sports High tomorrow, except we're home so I dont get to visit Jessica Wong :( BUT LIKE WAY TO SUDDENLY SPRING IT ON TO US OUT OF NOWHERE. ANYWAY ONTO A MORE PRESSING ISSUE TOMORROW IS SAVE THE TASSIE DEVIL DAY: WEAR BLACK/WHITE ACCESSORIES like a hat or ribbons (no additional clothing/alteration to uniform) and sneakers if you like but NO BEANIES + BRING GOLD COIN DONATION. The money goes towards researching the Tasmanian Devil facial tumor disease that is wiping out the tassie devil and there aren't many of them left so open your wallets tomorrow folks :D
